Block diagram for my 8051 Project

Hi guys. I've attatched a block diagram for the project I want to do for my final year.

I was going to do another project about which I posted here, and recieved a lot of opinions and replies, for which I am very thankful.

Here's what I want to do.

There are two units. Unit 1 and Unit 2. Both communicate with each other and each display on their LCD screens the location and direction of the other. Ofcourse, both units are password protected. This is just a rough block diagram I did in word. Please do see it and give me your opinions about it like what I need to watch out for and how I can best implement it etc. I want to use 900 MHz or above frequency for this project.

from the block diagram the approach was clear but the thing that was not clear was
1. rate of transmission (baud rate)
2. Distance u want to achieve
3. interace between rf-8051
4interface between LCD,Keyboard with 8051

I am still working on these details. I am a bit busy because I am also studying the intel x86 microprocessor.

i do not have the tranceiver yet, i am waiting to get it so i will have a better understaning once i have the datasheets for both the lcd, keypad and for the tranceiver.

btw, can anybody please point me towards the thread that discusses the intel 80x86 microprocessor and its architecture? i'm having some problem with the stack.

i tried looking but couldnt find it.

for the case tranreceiver u can consider chipcon cc1000 rf module which can be easily interfaced to the mcu.

the another x86 issue is u have to use a book from barry brey
