HI ALL,

I have recently started developing some ideas at home, and so i have access to some technology for the first time.

Also had about a 40 year gap since I last etched a PCB. Back then I used ferric chloride and some letraset transfers from Tandy....

So things have moved on. I have a 3d printer, and i am waiting on a K40 laser etching unit.

So I have seen the videos showing the mat black paint, and creating the acid restist mask.

However I have a little temperature controlled untrasonic tank. Would using the ultrasonics to agitate the acid be a practical idea?

I won't be suprized if ultrasonic is lifting the etch resist from PCB.
