Hello, I have successfully built this little linear **broken link removed**
I wish to convert the output and input transformers from binocular to toroids, as these are easier to find and wind.
I would like your suggestions of if this can be done and how to wind these toroids.
If you want something easy to wind look at "pot cores" or "EI" cores. Both of these take a separate spool that you wind and then place in the core. Toroids are a pain to wind without expensive specialized equipment.
If you must wind a small toroid by hand it may help to solder a short stiff piece of wire to the end of the winding to serve as a needle to poke through the hole.

Obviously this has to be made using some FT23 or FT37 toroids and they have big holes. The amount of turns required also is small. These are also more widely available and cheap.
