what is these two terms all about???? can someone give a detailed view....
 

It's about the byte ordering.

Especially when you make applications for the Mac you have to be aware of this since the old Mac use Big-endian and the new Intel based use Little-endian. So if you write applications for both and also use network routines you must write different code. [/url]
