Hello everyone,

I require to design a bidirectional dc/dc converter, which need to deliver 100 A current in boost mode and 10-15 A current in buck mode. In the boost mode, it have to deliver 100 A current for only 2 seconds and otherwise it will be disconnected from the load or act in buck mode. My question is, what should be the converter power rating and sizing since the 100 A is drawn only for 2 seconds?

Also need to know how to calculate inductor current rating.

Any comments or suggestions will be helpful.
