Good day.
Does such animal exist ? To find if an AC line is under generation or consuming power ?

The nearest I have seen is for RF / SWR measuring. What about something like this for A.C. ?

My net energy meter shows a direction arrow but does not tell the Amperes passing trough. An amperimeter would tell the current but not the direction...

There's no way to tell the direction of power flow from AC current from just a current measurement alone. You would also need a measurement of the AC voltage, or rather its phase relative to the AC current. And that's basically what a SWR measurement, as you said.

Hi,

I agree.
A low frequency power meter could also show power direction.
