I am a beginer in linux.I have installed linux 7.3 on my computer.I dont know the commands in linux.Can anybody help me to famiarize with linux commands.

What is KDE,GNOME,LILO and GRUB stands for?
How to mount cdrom and windows partitions?
What is the meanins of

dev,etc,bin,mnt
