Q1)which IC can be used as a BCD to HEX converter?
Q2)circuit diagram or methodology for interfacing 4 thumwheel switches &
4 digit 7 segment display?

Hi,

Q2/Thumbwheel switch.

Common pin connected to ground. Each other pin connected to an input port of a mcu or to an input of a buffer with a pull up resistor.

Q2/7 segment
