I wish to know whether transient voltage (over/under) occurs in a battery (Li-ion) when it is charged or discharged with very high current.

Re: Battery's transient voltage resposne

Most batteries suffer from a transient under voltage phenomenon when a sudden load is applied (called 'a croup de fouet" when referrring to lead acid (french for " cra'ck of the whip")) more so when cold - presumably there is a slight over voltage phenomenon for suddenly applied high charging currents too - if you are testing this we would be interested to see your results on the forum for your battery types.
