Battery power for a robotics project

hi all

I have a pc/104 board from ICOP that requires 5v @ 880mA
I cant figure out how to take 6 NiMH batteries (1.2v 2000mAH) to that
required voltage and current.
Please help. Trying to make this controller for a robotics project.

You will need voltage regulator to take care of change in battery voltage. The current rating of the battery will determine how long you can use it.
