Why does it happen that when I charge my mobile more than the pre-determined time, the battery begins to discharge?

Re: Battery discharging

What's type of tour battery ?! Li-On, Ni-Mh, ... ?!

Re: Battery discharging

It is Lithium Ion type

Re: Battery discharging

Modern telephones have smart chargers that monitor the battery temperature and voltage during charging. It is unlikely that you would harm the battery by trying to charge it frequently. Lithium Ion batteries have no memory effect.

Re: Battery discharging

Discharge should not happen because latest mobile phones monitor the battery for proper charging and disconnect the batteries from charging when they are fully charged.
