As per the given schematic, LM7824 T)3 package is use which has a maximum current capacity of 3 Amps. can you please explain where the 14 amps current is generated from? The output from the LM7824 will deliver 24 volts which is passed through a Diode which drops the same by 0.6 volts. Thus you get 23.4 volts which is not sufficient to charge a 24 volts battery. Atleast 27 volts is expected to deliver a good charge for a 24 volts battery...Cheers

a 24v zener before LM7824, and again pass through 2Ohm resister, and what type of bridge rectifier it is?
is it a working one?
