Basys 2 Spartan 3E additional pushbutton

Hi!

I have a Basys 2 Spartan 3E-100 Cp132. I would like to use more pushbuttons in my panel (6 more). I would like to ask, if it is possible, to connect my additional pushbuttons to the expansion connectors (JA,JB,JC,JD).

Any help would be greatly appreciated :smile:

I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that.

Just make a adapter board or some Frankenstein monster connector that wires up the J# connector pins 1-4 with a pullup to the 3.3v (pin-6) and the switch connected between the connector_pin-pullup and the ground on (pin-5).
