which one is better? basecomAVR or codevisionAVR ?
which one is profetional ? which one is popular?

They are totally different
Bascom is a Basic Compiler
While Codevision is C Compiler

of course C is the most Professional language

You can use AVRstudio, it is free C compiler and many AVR member use it. Down load it from www.atmel.com

It's simple and lots of build in easy to use function such as lcd interconnection, internal ADC and int access, and much more.

C Compilers are better and powerful than basic.You should learn C at PC at first.

But I recommend you IAR C Compiler for AVR (www.iar.com) you can download full 1 month demo and test it.

It is the most professional C compiler for AVR in the market

I use WinAVR from http://winavr.sourceforge.net/

It is for free and ist is professional
