background noise question

Hi all,
I have a cordless telephone,but the background noise is uncomfortable,i want to improve it.Anybody kindly share me your experiment and documents about how to suppress it?

you can buy a better cordless telephone now.

One experiment to try is to use your portable unit very near the base unit. Is the noise reduced? If not, follow the suggestion of the above post and buy another brand of the product.
