Which 1 is more beneficial for today's era, automation or embedded, for an Electronics Engineering student?
 

Both areas are growing worldwide and should interesting if the skills needed are what you like to do. The demand for jobs in this area might be different from country to country. Thus it is best to look for your strength and where/what the demand is for engineers in industrial automation and embedded electronic design/services.
