altimeter mpxh6115

I'm searching atmospheric pressure sensor to connect with my PC. I need to know what is the best sensor, datasheet & price, & circuit to connect him via parallel port or other.
thanks

hi

I think you must used pressure sensor for this purpose and device that can measure the atmospheric pressure called baro metter you can serach the web and found lot based on pic micro sum of them used pc interface

mpx4115ap is a good start (motorola pressure sensor)
it outputs between 0.2 and 4.8 volts from 150mbar to 1150mbar
you only need to give it 5V

If you want easy to use Pressure -> Digital output, check the INTERSEMA sensors.
Ive used them and are very stable, even at low temperatures and low pressures.

Motorola MPXH6115 is a small SMD pressure sensor, good for mini weather station or altimeter project.
