ATMega16 development board

Hi.,

Am using a ATMega16 development board. When i replaced the ATMega16 IC with another ATMega16 my device is not supporting when connecting the board to the PC.
What's the bug?

Check for the fuse bits use "AVR burn - o mat " It may help you

We need more info, how did you connect it to PC, what programmer, what message did you get...

If it is a programer communication problem maybe reducing the clock speed of the programmer will do the trick (are you using USBasp?)

Am connecting my AVR board to PC through USB.

Burner Software name : AVRDude/

Error Message as "USB Device not supported"

ATmega16 doesn't have a USB functionality or a bootloader from the factory so I'm not sure how you expect it to be programmed.

Can you provide a link to the board?
