ATA HDD to be interfaced with MCU--Help/Suggest

I need help... I want to interface a ATA hardisk as a mass storage to a microcontroller...(but how to do that?) What MCU will Im gonna be using? still undecided: please suggest.

Hi many open projects are there using major micro controller architectures try searching for "8051 hdd interface" or "pic hdd interface" or "hdd mp3 player 8051" you will get many open design projects with codes. here is one

There is a mcu 89C5132 with integrated IDE drive. So you don't have to programm so much as in simulation of this drive.
