One point though, the 6116 ram used, is a very hard item to get hold of, the maxim DS 1220 looks like a compatable device.

After asking around here in greece, I have managed to source the 6116 but the micro is discontinued.
I have one which is rated at 4Mhz, which is unsuitable, unless it will work overclocked, but I think I'll compile the asm for a tiny2313 which is pin compatable.

I want make it but I would like to use a attiny2313 just burn with original HEX file, do you think its work?
sda did you updated this to attiny2313, but did you made modifications to use UART? the pin TX and RX is same original lola diagram schematic? or you are using tx and rx from 2313 pins?
