at89s52 clock

Hi all edaboard'ians,

Here I present to you my AT89S52 based digital clock/thermometer.
I made this as a b'day gift for my sister who was no doubt,
very excited to have this cool handmade gadget as a gift!

I made it quite some time back but was not able to upload it
because the schematics were not complete.(Yeah, I made
the schematics AFTER building the project due to lack of time).

I would not have been able to create this without the support
and help that I got from this forum, especially from laktronics.

I thought the best way to thank all of you would be to publish the
schematics and code for my project. Both the code and schematics
are under GPL (and as such without any warranty).

Hope this would be useful to anyone seeking information on
AT89S52 and interfacing it with LCD/DS12887RTC/DS1820
in general. I used asm51 assembler from Metalink to assemble
my code. Please feel free to contact me for any technical query
about the clock. You may also want to view the youtube demo
of the clock at:

Hello Seemanta,
Thank you for your feedback on your project. Nice to see your project in action. Glad to know that you could convert it into a valuable asset. Also it is really nice on your part to have offered the project details to the Forum. I hope it would help as a reference design for those who plan to do similar projects in future.

With best regards,
Laktronics

digital clock using at89s52

Frankly speaking, the honor is mine ;-)

On a different note, I had a question.

I was not able to upload my code to the forum. Even when I changed the extension of the file to jpg, it is not showing up in my post.

The code is huge, about 1500 lines of assembly, so I also can't put it inline in my post.
Any suggestions ?

regards,
Seemanta

assembler clock at89s52

Hi,
If you change the .ASM extension to .doc, it takes. Otherwise you can put it as a .zip file .
