hi,
anybody there, has any idea about designing a analog input board with BIT(built in test) capability?
as a matter of fact, this board need to check accuracy and linearity and
in/out of calibration for each channel during runtime and system must be informed if any failure.

Introducing an A/D chip with BIT features can be helpful

I appreciate your technical advice in advance
alireza

The simplest way is to implement redundancy - 2 ADC have to compared to each other .

Internal calibration source can be pretested before using so checks will be done during operation to align go value from the initial one measured at initial tests . Use voltage range during runtime tests.

Use currency supply to cge capasitor and continuously measure voltage on capasitor . If Currency source is quite accurate you should get constant voltage addition at ADC output (this is for linearity )

But there more way I suppose to add extra accuracy
