do memory compilers support bit (and/or byte) enable? do they support asynchronous read?

some memory compilers support bit or byte enable write control.
asynchronous or synchronous read is more memory architecture dependant.

Synopsys who bought Virage for example.
Every founders have a liste of memory compiler vendor for their technologies.

Dolphin has memory compiler as well.

Well in all case, you need to the technology you want before going to a memories providers, and normaly the technology providers are "pround" to have multiple memory providers for their technology.
