hi,
I am doing ASIC implementation to an adder than only adders 1 bit to 32-bits how can i do that with out using a 32-adder (as this will waste time and area), From my reading i guess carry select adder can help with clock gating but yet please if any body has a better suggestion please answer.
thnx

What you describe seems to be a 32-bit counter. Please give a source code example of what you are trying to do.
