Is there any one who has used "LMS Equlizer" block available in matlab simulink? Does any body knows its internal architecture.
Recently, I searched a lot about channel equalization techniques when you are using one of QPSK , GMSK, ... modulations, But I did not fing any thing about how, we should design, a for example, adaptive channel equalizer in these cases. Any body knows any good source about it?
Of course I know the architecture of a normal LMS Channel equlizer but what changes should be done, when we are using some kind of digital phase modulation?

basic equaliser techniques

if you use pulse shaping in you modulation, u have to do the pulse shaping for the reference signal also. I have never tried simulink, write you own matlab file is much easier.

equalizer lms

OK!
Some thing about one month before, I worked for more than a weak on thie topic and I obtained good results. I could build a system, using matlab simulink, with allows you, to test the performance of different modulation techniques, in a rayleigh fading , AWGN channel.
I upload the simulink design, here, along with it's needed initialization file, hope it can be useful for some one.
You can easily change the modulator block in the design with your favorit one.

there are 2 chapters about equalization in digital communications by proakis
