apr9600 recording problem

sir i am new to apr9600.i tried recording sounds given in the data sheet but i get the output voltage just 0.2-0.4v.i tried all the circuits for apr9600 given in edaboard. very urgent sir kindly help me.i also want to know the corrections in the datasheet. i record sound using a mic.i also want to know what is rosc mentioned in the data sheet circuit diagram.
