Hi,

I have an Aoyue 908 and I would like to know if anyone has a chart where we could see the position of the two knob for each type of electronic component, e.g.:

Capacitor: "Air flow" in position 3 And Heater in position 4.

Resistor: "Air flow" in positon 2 And Heater in positon 4

I would like to know also the temperatures that I shoul use.

Hi,

Another question about thus equipment:

When I connect the power cord the diaphragm pump starts to work immediately, even if the two switches of the station are turned off!

Is this normal operation?

Thanks in advance,
Bruno

I had the same question a while ago,

You have to experiment , there is no correct solution.
I use it for de-soldering only, for me a temperature of about 380° with an airflow of about 4-5 works fine
