Depending on what you mean by robot; this may be the milling machine you want: https://www.microkinetics.com/pcbproto.htm There is many vendors and models like that one. It removes the copper from the board without chemicals. Miguel

If you want to make just a few I'd stick to etching. Well depends on the complexity of the design I guess.
