I need regulated heating element 240V 500W, I can use triac BT139-600E
and for driving triac optotriac with zero crossingMOC3063
Any as see pic.
My question
1.How necessary is resitor resistor 360 Ohm on pin 4 if is used BT139-600E?
2. It is suitable triac BT139-600E or is better use 800V version or another series than E ?
3. For more resistive load snubbler probably not necessary, but it will use. I thing R=47Ohm and C 10nF ceramic 2000V. My question, what will be the power loss on R=47Ohm?
