antenna sensitivity

Hi,
Can anyone advice me how I can measure antenna sensitivity as well as the measurement set up.

sensitivity antenna

Sensitivity measurements usually refer to a receiver or system and the smallest signal that they can detect.. Antennas have characteristics like efficiency, gain, directivity and contribute to "system sensitivity".

My guess is that you are looking for antenna gain rather than sensitivity.

sensitivity of antenna system

Sensitivity is also known as G/Tsys of an antenna.
Have you measured the System temperature of receiver system or antenna system which are going to use.System temp is a imp parameter in determining sensitivity.
Gain/Efficiency calculations can be done based on user inputs and many the formulae are given in books,
Refer Kraus for more details.

what is sensitivity of an antenna?

Hi pankajdudulwar,

Refer to the below link u'll get some idea.
