antenna for TETRA (400 MHz)

Hi all,
I need information about antennas for TETRA. I've read they are based on monopoles mostly and I wonder if they can be improved by using dipoles or other structures.

Hello,
I think it would be better if you explain or give some more details...

this way I can tell you that you only need a UHF antenna: directive or omni it just
depend on the application.
