how is the prospect for the same in china market. Where china position in the same.

can you tell me what is you field? for tech. or for market?

Bright future for analog/mixed IC design guru. Only for guru.

Nowdays, the main effects if china are put into digital. But Mixed signal will become more and more important.

It is a hard work. the Analog design is a experiential job,
a excellent engineer must work for it over 10 years.

I think mixed signal has bright prospect in china.

not only in China, it should be in all the world, Analog/ Mixed signal design has bright prospect.

Compared with digital, development of analog/mixed-signal needs more time. Experience means much more in analog than in digital.

analog &digital are different.digital always use language to get the function.but analog should use device to simulate.

anyway, they are different.

for digital IC design, if you like to take advantage of new process, you need to take care of more and more circuit issues(noise, EM/IR, timing, matching), at least on library, caches; for analog/mixed signal design, as technology keeps shrink, you need to use digital part(DSP) to help you on your analog/mix signal design, otherwise you will have nightmare if you use cmos. So you'll see more and more mixed design, and both of them, at least some concepts, will be important.

For digital, scaling means faster speed and smaller area; However, for analog, scaling does not always mean good thing.

India is picking up highly in analog vlsi design. Any Idea of how much a full chip custom layout designer with 2+ yrs experience earn there?
