I am trying to do the layout of one analog block and one digital block and put them together at the top level. In this process, I have a couple of doubts.
1. I have generated the layout for the digital portion coded in Verilog HDL from Innovus. When I import the layout to virtuoso and try to open it using Layout XL, I see only the abstract view. If I go to each cell and click on properties, I can change the view to the layout. Is there any way that I can change the abstract view of all cells to layout in a single go?
2. Once I have the layout of the schematic and digital portion ready, I would like to know the steps to integrate the two and perform a post-layout simulation.

Change the search order to put layout before abstract in the
switch-view list. Or open a config view (Hierarchy Editor) so
you can assert view-type for any/all.
