Hi

Someone told me that the Ethernet ports' amber LED is a green/yellow dual LED that they reverse polarity at few kHz to turn both on a little bit and together generate a combined color.
Is it true?
I have not seen any documents or datasheets stating that.

If that were true it would be Red & Green back to back. to make it try color and harder to make.
All the ones I have seen are bicolor with 3 or 4 pads Green-Amber
