Altium Summer '09 CAD drawing

Hi guys,

How to make CAD drawings in Altium? Like rectangulars, circles, triangles....

Go to Palce menu or type "R".
I will suggest you to go through Altium help for such type of questions.

there is no direct command for creating a triangle and rectangle, only lines are used to form a triangle and rectangle, in circle creation there is a lot of choices on how you want to create your circle.
just simply go to place menu(<P>) and select lines or circle(what you want).

one more advanced method is to make your drawings outside of Altium and then to import them as DXF or PLT (in case of PLT you need to import it first into CamTastic and the reexport into DXF).

There is even more advanced approach - you can directly generate the lines, polygnes and regions in some PC program and write them into PcbDoc format.
