Hi,
I'm having some trouble with pin swap on a virtex 5 part. There are 2 issues:
1. Some pins do not move at all (despite the fact that swap is enabled)
2. After the swap, when I go to update schematics-272 pins fail with no reason. (When I validate changes I get the little red x with no text)
I have:
17 of 20 parts of my FPGA on the schematic. Do I need to put down the other 3?
Unlocked the parts that have swappable pins
Put all my pins in the same group (for now at least until I figure this out-then I'll work on differential pairs)
added wire to the pins that are swap enabled (just in case altium needs somewhere to place a net label)
I have enabled add/remove nets in the "options" tab. I have not enabled "change schematic pins" think that this was no necessary if nets can be moved around.
Any clues as to why most of my pins do not update from PCB to schematic?
Thanks!
