Altera , Xilinx doubt

pls help me out in this 1, i am a total naive in FPGA

I need to replace Xilinx XC2S100

with one of the following ICs

EP1C4F400C6

EP2C35F672C6

from altera, which 1 of them can i use

depends how match logic you need. select option to enble auto device select in quartus software

144-TQFP

208-PQFP

256-FBGA

456-FBGA

what is the package u have in ur existing design

if ur not changing the hdl code, then i think u cud go for a lower version
