Altera DE2, simple LCD Display using Verilog hdl

hello,

can anyone help me display a word in my fpga using verilog? i need a tutorial. i'm new to fpga. please help:-(

Probably some work required (creating pin constraints) to get it running on a specific board like Altera DE2. But these should be enough to get you started.
