advantage of fpga application??

what is the advantage of implementing FFT function on FPGA instead of CPLD
 

As a main advantage, you have a chance to implement it, while a CPLD most likely hasn't sufficient logic resources... :D
 

FPGA has features like DCM, Block RAMs etc which will be useful in designing an FFT. These are not there in CPLD.
