I've tried that but it still shows the error. The only workaround I can think of is if I use a value close to zero, i.e. 0.00000000001, but that changes the desired result for frequencies higher than 1GHz.The complex syntax is wrong. It has to be 0+j*138.564065.
ADS will give an error without Real Part.
No, there's no particular reason for using that. I needed to match the ports and usually I use this port and haven't run into any problems yet. What other port can I use?Warning detected by hpeesofsim in InitializePorts() during circuit set up.
Port TermG2 re(Z) <= 0, possibly due to extrapolation; setting re(Z)=0.001.
So, re(Z) should be at least 0.001.
It will change the result because you're using pure inductive port that is unusual. Why it's so pure reactive ?
Is there any reason ?
This is just an intermediate part. I will add another TL where the load is then I'll match it with a proper load. But before that i need to validate my theory.Also, the load without real part will not take energy out of the system. I'm afraid you abuse S-parameters here, consider using AC simulation with the appropriate source and load types.
But S-parameter simulation doesn't make sense that way. I doubt that you will get anything useful from S-parameter simulation with 0 Ohm real part.This is just an intermediate part. I
