Hello,

I am trying to simulate antenna on CST studio, but instead of using the usual power sources (ports), I would like to use a circuit (Inductor, capacitance, current source). Is it possible for CST studio? Or on ADS? How?
What would be a good software for that?

Best regards,

The usual design methodology is to split this into two pieces: the EM simulated part (represented by S-parameters) and the circuit part. This is much nicer to handle, because you can easily tweak circuit components without resimulating the (unchanged) antenna part.

So the answer is: take the EM simulated antenna data into the circuit simulator using S-parameters. If circuit elements are part of the EM model, include them as ports in the EM model, and later connect the actual components in circuit simulation.
