I am looking to integrate the Successive-Interference Cancellation (SIC) technique into my system and would like to know if the following would work.

Let me first explain the system as Ic is the total interference from neighbouring eNBs. PT and P′T are the transmit powers of the two transmitters, transmitting at the same sub-channels (ω) to mutual receiver r. Hence the SINR at receiver r is

My take for integrating SIC is: If I include μ as a SIC-variable such that μ∈[0,1] defines the amount of interference cancellation such that μ=0 reflects complete (ideal) interference cancellations.

First point: Is my approach using μ correct?

Second point: Should I consider μ as a constant or a random variable (R.V.). In case of RV, what kind of distribution should I consider?
