firewire actual speed

What can I expect from USB2.0 (spec. speed 480Mbit/s) ? I need 377Mbit/s device to PC. Can isochronous mode of USB2.0 handle this in a good P4 PC under Win2K?

Is Firewire (IEEE1394a spec. speed 400Mbit/s ) better for this or not?

As always this depends on many factors.
First you must have a usb chip which can handle that speed
Cypress for example has DMA capabilities.
Next you need to be a very smart driver programmer to handle such high data rates

I think 16 to 20 MBytes / sec is doable with Usb2.0

Note also that 377 MBit/sec on a single ISO device is vorbitten by the spec and iso mode is currendly not supported by most USB2 chips.
