Hi, i'm hoping someone can help me with my problem.

We have to design and build an electronic system for our third year in electronics engineering. We decided to implement a system that uses GPS and an accelerometer to measure distance, velocity, acceleration and inclination of a runner. I have been trying to do research on accelerometers but im getting nowhere. Our proposal has been reviewed by the professor offering the module and he said our off the shelf accelerometer needs to be without ADC and SPI for it to be more complex otherwise it will be too easy. What accelerometer should I use and where can I get more info on accelerometers??

Any help will be appreciated
Attached is the proposal evaluation

Kind Regards Friends
