Dear techies,
could you pls let me know that,
can we regulate a ac voltage by clipping the ac waveforms..??
like input voltage is 260 voltage & i i clipped fired triac at 90degrees so it will give me rms value of 130 volt..
so like we can do it as a voltage stabiliser by clipping..
what will be efffects on end applications??
will the cliping ac waveforms leads to realibility of end application..
i am talking about higher voltage not lowered
