Hello,
Anyone knows how to start AC "measurements" with some delay in a simulation? Is there any "standard trick"?
I use qucs, but I think this applies to any spice-like simulator.
Thanks

what do u mean by measuring after a delay?

If you refer to AC analysis, it has no time parameter at all. You need to achieve a meaningful DC bias, but the DC
setpoint analysis eliminates all time dependant elements, e.g. L and C.

If you refer to transient analysis, you should clarify the question. Generally, if a circuit need's considerable time to achieve steady state
after initial transient analysis, you can actually specify a "print" delay or enforce a different initial condition nearer to the steady state.

Thanks for the answers. I was talking about AC analysis and I learned that my view was wrong, there is not setup time for AC analysis.
thank you
