I have a 8 channel AC input module. Each channel is configured as follows

I want to convert it to 16 channels keeping the input current same so that the power consumption of the module doesn't change much. In the above channel, the current is 12.39mA. I want to design it such a way that the input current is 6mA or less for each channel. That way for 16-channels, the total power will remain the same. What are the changes I need to do? Reducing the capacitor (c1) to 100nF brings it down to 8.27mA. What is recommended. Please advise.

Hi,

double the impedance:
* double the resistor values
* double the capacitive impedance by halving the capacitor value.
