why use the watchdog timer 8051 microcontroller and what is the benefits.

Watchdog timer is a feature available at many microcontrollers, purposed to reset core device at precise intervals by main routine if it was not disabled before reach time limit.

It is used to ensure that program never will not running at an infinite loop due to some condition not predicted before.
