about the cdsdoc software under RHEL 3 AS

Does anybody try to use RHEL 3 AS Update 3 to run cdsdoc?
I have failed in my server, Dell Poweredge 1850. I have use cdsdoc under
RHEL 3 WS Update 3. it is ok. but failed in AS. it does not report any java problem
and the java version is 1.4.2.
