hi

I am new to the j1939/ CAN high layer protocol. I am very much interest in to study about those.

How can I get that materials?

now I am using the vector canoe simulation software for checking the j1939. In that, lot of stuff available. I want to know full intro about the j1939 in vector can oe. what is mean by database, environmental variable ?

How exactly the message transfer from one to another?

It's only contain the historical data. But I need more about technical point of view.

if you look at the right side of the page you will see links to "CAN physical layer", "CAN protocol", etc, e.g.

also if you do a web search on "canbus standard" it will give you links to Bosch technical documents etc
